valentine.

So... got three valentines cards this year.
No Idea who sent any of them. Well, I have SOME inclination, but not enough of an inclination to warrant an idea. I simply have small measures of inclination, flavoured by hope and tinged with wishful thinking.

So (as far as facts and logic are concerned) I'm clueless (>_<) But basically, my suspects include someone with eight letters in his/her name... (thus narrowing it down considerably) and someone who has handwriting that looks like it should be showcased in a parent's evening at primary school. One for children who can't read or write.

But still, I guess there's something to be enjoyed from all this mystery...
I suppose I should just stop wondering who sent them (or why...), and just be grateful/flattered/appreciative they did.

It might not seem like much to some, but to be honest, anything more than none is pretty cool where I'm considered. I mean, I always get cards... but I still find it really surprising every year. And this one is no exception.

Guess some people see something likeable in me. (What oddballs...)

Got myself a phone. It's new. It's shiny. And I think I'm in love with it!!!

Even though the touch screen is more than a little annoying, It lets me text ANYONE on O2 for FREE!!! As long as I top-up £10 a month, which I'm pretty sure I can afford. Also, I can still get on my book-face with it, so I am a happy individual right nowz (^_^)

On a less happy note, I wasted £19.99 on a broadband-internet-dongle-device which, to put it bluntly, works about as well as a sword made out of butter. Sure, if you're using it against someone with lactose intolerance it might pack a punch... but otherwise you're up a certain creek (that rhymes with "it") without a paddle.

So that was money down the drain (¬_¬')

But other than that, food, a nicotine fix, and a really, really nice red wig I got off eBay (which may or may not make me look like a transvestite) I haven't reeeaaally spent much of my "hard-earned" cash. So I'd say well done on me!

Now all I need to do is learn how to save my money...

I got paid! Finally!!! Have been sitting on my ass since... pretty much Christmas... going "when I get paid" this, and "when I get paid" that - and now THE TIME HAS COME!! Amazon and eBay beware! I'm on the prowl for a bargain!!

So... I seem to have developed a little thing for retro cartoons. I say it's quite a cool little hobby. Others disagree. But then I kick them in the face - so it doesn't matter (^_^)

After telling Gina-chan about how I used to make he-who-must-not-be-named (lest-I-be-sick-in-my-mouth) watched Thundercats for hours on end, she came up with her own conclusion as to why I am single now. Personally, I think she might be right! Haha! (>.<)

The main source of my new-found fascination has been my vain attempts at recapturing the innocence of my "youth". What with the way life has been lately, I've been reverting to my 10 year old self to hide away from it all, and I think watching my favourite old cartoons kinda helps that.

However, when I accidentaly ordered The Care Bears Movie (instead of Care Bears 2: The Movie - a very important difference I assure you) and sat down to watch it... it suddenly hit me like a frisbee in the park. I am an 18 year old, sitting alone in my house, watching movies and tv-shows design for an age range of 3-7.

Naturally, the thought bothered me.

Until I realized the Care Bears movie is so shit it's AWESOME!! (>_<) And today, She-Ra: Princess of Power arrived. Whether my dignity and self-respect left upon it's arrival is yet to be seen. But I have yet to watch a movie that copious amounts of alcohol can't improve. At least for me.

ZOMG!! I've signed up for the gym! Finally... (>.<) Been saying I would join the gym for at least 3 years now. Better late then never I guess.

Wen't through half an hour of boring induction - most of which I didn't pay attention to, due to being distracted by a blonde guy who kept giving me dirty looks (I'm sure I know him, but I'm not sure where from...) - and now all I need to do is find some gym-suitable clothing and then I'm off! Shall use those fancy contraptions until I bleed.

I'm sure that's what you're meant to do... right? (^_^)

Also, I have decided EXACTLY what I'll be spending my bursary on. It begins with "inter", and ends with "net" - can anyone guess???

Thinking I might get one of those funky dongle-device-things. Lately I've realized just how much I miss the internet... Youtube, MSN, Myspace... There are so many I've lost contact with since I lost access to the interweb... and I really want to try and get back in touch with them.

GAWD!! I miss them SOOOOOOOO much!!

Still, for now I'm putting all my focus onto my gym-bunny-ness. I am commited this time! I know I have a tendency to give on up on things before I start, BUT NOT THIS TIME!!!

bad day.

Must admit, have not been having the greatest of days. Scratch that. Have not been having the greatest of weeks. What with singledom rearing its ugly head once again, it's safe to say I have been verging on depressed as of late.

Now, on a slightly less drowning-in-my-misery kinda note - my hair... is GROWING!!!

Not at the fantastical rate I had hoped for mind you, but there is some definite growth going on. Hopefully in a month or two I'll feel confident enough to go outside without a hat again.

I used to love my hats... now I DESPISE them! (¬_¬)

And then, when my hair is back to it's usual lengthy-ness... I shall DYE it again! I miss my red hair something terrible. I am a redhead at heart, you see, and this purple/brown hair just doesn't sit right with me.
